Happy New Year!
The race scheduled for January 11th at Ernie’s on Gull Lake in Cass County will be cancelled.
We are looking for a possible date in February, but depends on how the rest of the races come together as planned.
Warm weather with 9 to 10 inches of existing ice and now there is about 6 inches of wet snow over the 6 inches that was already there.
Since we have to be on the ice on January 9th to get this done and track ready, that is only next week.
Stay tuned, and be careful on the lakes, ice is not good and now even heavier snow up north has water all over on some thin ice.
We are hopeful still for our race on January 25th at Forest Lake.
Mostly rain this past week with about 5 inches of snow, so still has a good chance with some colder weather.
